Utilization of Fly Ash in constriction Industries: The way Forward to contribute for sustainable developing in construction industries. Sustainable developing is developing that meet present needs without compromising the essentials of future generation. Sustainable development has continued to evolve as that of protecting the world's resoursec while its true agenda is to control the world's resources. Environmentslly sustainable economic growth refers to economic development that meets the needs of all without leaving future generation with fewer natural resources that those, we enjoy today. The essence of this form of development is a stable relationship between human activities and the natural world, which does not diminish the prospects for future generation to enjoy a quality of life at least as good as our owm. Thus sustainable development plays as equality important role in construction industries and Sustainable development in construction should translate into improve quality of life, protection of the envirnment, energy conservation, waste reduction, & recycling, efficient use of natural resources, and better operational performance. The construction industry is by far the most promising sink for recycling industrial, mining and household wastes because of the large volume of material used and its tolerance for variability in their properties. Thus, by using different waste matrial like fly ash, silica fumes, slag, cement kiln dust, etc. as construction material will reduce impact on natural available resources. Use of these waste materials in construction will help in achieving the goal of sustainable development. This book focuses one of such waste material, i.e. fly ash, its applications as construction material.
