UNION Leadership in industries provide real democracy. Freedom of working class people develops sound social environment in industry. Trade Union Leadeship must emerge from within if the economy requires social reorientations and the union and their federations actively support the welfare of millions. Dr. D.S. Chundawat did his M.Com (Business Administration) degree from University of Udaipur in 1980 and was awarded Ph.D. from Sukhadia University in 1983. He started his career in 1983 as lecture in Commerce in M.V. Shramjeevee College Rajasthan Vidhyapeeth, Udaipur. He also served in Jodhpur University as Assistant Prof. in the Faculty of Commerce. At present, he is working as Asstt. Professor in the Department of Business Administration,College of Commerce and Management Studies, M.L. Sukhadia University, Udaipur. He has various published papers to his credit. He has also participated in National and International Seminars. Besides, the author is the alumini of IIMA and has completed 'Faculty Development Programme' from Inidan Institude of Management, Ahmedabad. He has also submitted a project on Workers participation in Management. Further, he has conducted a Vocational Education Orientation programme sponsored by Ministry of Human Resource Development and S.I.E.R.T., Udaipur. The author has been member of Executive Committe (Syndicate), Udaipur University and varius Academic bodies between 1980 and 1982. Presently, he is a member of the Board of Management of Sukhadia Unoversity, Udaipur.
