Rafaqatein literally means togetherness or closeness. This book is an effort to recall, revive and celebrate the beauty of urdu Poetry. First part of this book contains compilation of poetic works of renowned urdu Poet Ahmad Faraz. The second part contains some of my thoughts and feelings in urdu poetic form, though not even comparable to any of the Urdu Poet.

Shantanu Sharma is a lawyer by profession. He is practicing at Rajasthan High Court, Jaipur for last more than ten years. As a lawyer he has represented various Government Departments and Universities. Presently, he is counsel for Income Tax Department, National Council for Teacher Education, Rajasthan University, Rajasthan University of Health Science, SKN Agriculture University (Jobner), SK Rajasthan Agriculture University (Bikaner), Jaipur Development Authority, Sanskrit University, Jaipur. He has deep love for reading and writing Urdu Poetry. This book is a collection of some of his favourite poetic works of Ahmad Faraz and it also contains some of his own poetic creations.
