The book has been specially designed to provide benchmark for diagnosis and prognosis of financial health of a corporate body. The work is based on empirical ecidences. Univariate as well as multivariate models have been administrated to predict the financial health of financially stressed companies. It is established that multivariate models possess a commendable predictive power which may be used to give prognosis well in advance before a company actually goes into liquidation. Finally the author has suggested benchmark to identify the process of sickness.

Dr. S.S Sarangdevot is presently working as Director of the college Science and information Technology in a NAAC accredited B++ University named as "Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidhyapeeth (Deemed) Univeristy, Udaiour (Raj.)". He has been successfully managing the academic administrative and financial affairs of the department. Dr. Saeangdevot has been regularly contributing to many important Journals and also has participated in several national and international conferences. He has also been supervising a number of Ph.D. Scholars and other research projects in the area of Finance & Management Information Systems. He is the member of Board of Management and many other important committees of the University. He is also the member of Rajasthan Accounting Association, Indian Accounting Association and Indian commerce Association.
