Dr. Hemantkumar Pranlal Pandya, former Associate Professor, Department of Microbiology, Govt. Medical College, Surat and presently working for the same post at American International Institute of Medical Science, Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. Teaching is his passion since 1980 with a publication of book “Understanding of Clinical Microbiology” in the year 2018. He is a fully conversant Clinical Microbiologist and appreciated by Rotary Club of Surat with a prestigious “Vocational Award” for research, identification and understanding of epidemic of plague during the year 1994. As an expert he worked during many life threatening epidemic and guided the medical of Gujarat. He also worked for uplifting research activities in medical sciences during his work as a Ph.D. supervising teacher at V.N. South Gujarat University. He also participated in various academic activities as a member of academic committees of the university. He is one of the invited personal as an academician for teaching, research and administrative activities of different universities. At the age of 67 he is fully involved in academics and involved as a Member Secretory of Infections Prevention and Control committee of the Medical college and Hospital at Udaipur. He is in charge of Central Research Laboratory of the present institute. He is interested and studying in Advance Medical Education and research in medical education research methodology. The upcoming book will be on the “Integrated technique in Medical Education” and shall be published soon. Let us wish him great academic career with good health.
