The book is divided into 9 chapter provide the basic about the basic ideas about the vector analysis and vector calculus like gradient, divergence and curl. Second and third chapter is devoted to electrostatics in vacuum covering the Gauss's law and its applications, dipole, quadrupole and multiple approximation, electrical image methods, uniqueness theorem and boundary condition. Fourth chapter id related to electrostatics in matter, fifth chapter cover the magnetostatics part. Sixth and seventh chapter are to electric currents and alternating current bridges. Eight chapter is for ballistic galvanometers and its uses. Ninth chapter is related to Maxwell's equation and electromagnetic wave, their nature and polarization of field.
