Dr. Veena Dwivedi is an Associate Professor al Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth, Udaipur, in the School of Social Sciences and Humanities. She specializes in sociology and social development, focusing on gender, human rights, environment, and climate change. She has edited 16 books, written 156 chapters, and published 154 research articles. She has presented at national and international conferences and mentored 22 Ph. D. students.

As NSS P.O. she benefiting marginalized women and children through health, sanitation, and social programs. She served as President and Secretary of Lions Club Divine, Udaipur, since 2010, and has received 20 awards for her social contributions.

Her 16+ years of NGO experience include working with organizations like CHETNA, JRF, and CARE India etc. She has implemented projects on health, education, and livelihoods, and trained NGO staff, government officials, and industry personnel in Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Uttar Pradesh. Her expertise covers research, project proposals, and policy advice in social and environmental sectors.

Dr. Rani Prabha Solanki (MA, MSW, M.Phil, Ph.D.), Associate Professor and Head of Department, is currently working in the Department of Sociology, College of Social Sciences and Humanities, Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University).

Her main research areas include women’s empowerment, rural development, and education. Six research scholars have been awarded Ph.D. degrees under her guidance, and currently, five research scholars are pursuing their studies. She received her Ph.D. degree from Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth in 2015. She has over 15 years of experience in the field of education and has presented research papers at more than 63 national and international seminars, conferences, and workshops. She has published 24 research papers and has received 7 national and international honors and awards. Her two books “Women Empowerment” and “Society in India has been published, and another book based on tribal society is currently in progress. She holds a lifetime membership of the Rajasthan Sociological Association (RSA).

Dr. Aruna Mathur is currently Additional Head, Department of Education, IIS (Deemed to be University), Jaipur. She completed her Masters in Education (with a Gold Medal) and Ph.D. in Education from the Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur. She has an UGC (NET) qualification in Education and has been working as a Teacher Educator for over 12 years at the Under Graduate and Post Graduate levels, with leading Teacher Education institutions in Rajasthan, India.

Dr. Mathur has also given lectures to Prospective and in-service Government School Teachers/School Principals enrolled in National Institute of Open School (NIOS) and the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) from time to time. Her research areas focus on 21st Century Skills of Teacher Educators and Teachers. Other than teaching, she has over 25 years of experience in the Development Sector in India-as a Free Lance Documentalist and Editor-mainly generating, disseminating and managing information in different NGOs working on issues related to health, environment, education, children, adolescents and women. She has travelled widely in India, US, UK, Europe, UAE and Nepal.

Mr. Anurag Sonwalker is an experienced development professional with 27 years of professional experience. He is currently serving as State Programme Officer with United Nations Population fund (UNFPA) in Madhya Pradesh state office at Bhopal working on Population, Gender and Adolescent issues.

He has worked as a professional in different capacities with various Government Departments and with development agencies/Firms mainly KPMG, John Snow India, FHI 360, UNICEF, Micronutrient Initiative, CARE and OXFAM. He has contributed to various Health and Nutrition projects mainly in the States of Bihar, UP, CG, Gujarat, Rajasthan and MP.

Presently, he is pursuing his Doctoral Research (PhD) on Adolescent Health flagship programme in MP, His academic background includes Public Health Nutrition from Indian Institute of Public Health, Delhi and professional Social Work degree from Indore School of Social Work, Indore, MP.
