• Brief introduction of the status of the growth and development of renewable
energy sources in India. It gives data of installed capacity of solar photovoltaic
system in the country. Also provides information regarding solar park development
in Rajasthan and growth and cumulative capacity of solar photovoltaic in Rajasthan.
• Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM), its mission, year-wise targets,
Mission strategy and Policy and regulatory framework.
• Rajasthan Solar Policy 2019” and its target. All the incentive and promotional
facilities under this scheme for Rooftop PV Solar Power Systems with Gross
Metering, Decentralized Grid Connected Solar Power Projects, Off-Grid Solar
Applications and Solar Power Projects with Storage Systems are discussed.
• M-Kusum scheme components and its implementation are discussed briefly. In later
section, Rajasthan Solar Pump scheme for Hi-Tech agriculture, its objectives and
eligibility criteria is explained.

Dr. Vikramaditya Dave did his B.E. (Hons) and M.E. (Hons) from MBM Engineering college. He did his Ph.D. from IIT Roorkee. He has a 19 years of teaching experience and 4 years of field experience, He has published near about 50 research papers in different national and international journals and conference proceedings. He is author of seven books. He has completed near about 11 projects of different National agencies like DST, ICAR, AICTE etc. He also holds the position of Nodal officer (academics) TEQIP III cell, administrative coordinator technology business incubator center, Warden Hostel and Nodal Officer ARIIA. He holds memberships of different professional bodies like Institution of Engineers, American vacuum society etc. He has been awarded by Government of Rajasthan Energy Conservation Award 2018. He holds expertise in the field of control system, artificial intelligence, nanotechnology and Solar photo voltaic technology.
