This publication is collection of lectures delivered by eminent scientist in one day seminar on "Role of Potash Fertilizers for Sustainable Agriculture" jointly organized by the Department of Agronomy, Rajasthan College of Agricluture, and Indian otash Limited on March 26,2015 at Udaipur. Other chapyers were invited from agricluture scientist of various organization/ department. This book covers various aspects of potash and potassic fertilizars for sustainable agriculture like import and consumption scenario, dynamics, manufacturing process, crop nutrition and respone, role and importance soil quaity; and fertilixer sector under new subsidry regimes etc. The publication gives comprehensive informaton on potassic fertilizer for sustainable agriculture and would serve as a useful source of reference material for students, teacherm researchers, policy makers, administrators, extension workers and fertilizer industry professionals as well and other engaged in field of agriculture.

Dr. R.S. Choudhary did his M.Sc. And Ph.D. Agronomy from Indian Agriculture Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi in 2001 and 2005, respectively. Dr. Choudhary started his career as Agronomist in 2006 at 'The Fertiliser Association of India' (FAI), New Delhi (2006 to 2007). In 2007, he seitched over the job to National Fertilizers Limited (Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Fertilizer & Chemicals, Govt. of India), New Delhi as Assistant Manager and served in different capacities from 2007 to 2013. At present Dr. R.S. Choudhary is working as Assiatant Professor in the Department of Agronomy, Rajasthan College of Agriculture, (Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture & Technology), Udaipur. He has nine years of experience in fertilizer industry, teaching, research and extension activities. Dr. Choudhary has published 9 research papers and many popular articles in national and internatonal journals and magazines along with participation in many conference and seminars. He has also published symposia proceedings, co-edited book, bulletins, pratical manual and folders of farmers and students interest. Dr. R.C. Tiwari is working as Professor & Head, Department of Agronomy, Rajasthan College of Agriculture, (Maharana Pratap Universit of Agriculture & Technology), Udaipur (Rajasthan). He is an authority with wide experience of more than 30 years in teaching, research and extension. He has represented Indian for Projects management and Evaluation to Washington D.C. USA. He has also worked as an expert in Canadian project. He received crop research and beside academic, Dr. Tiwari was the good sportman of national level. He ahs guided more than 10 scholers at graduate and post graduate level.
