Dr. Asha Ram Meena is a distinguished Academician and Researcher. Currently serving as the Head of Department of Zoology at the University College of Science, Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur. With a strong academic foundation, he holds M.Sc., M.Phil., and Ph.D. Degrees in Zoology. Dr. Meena is actively involved in teaching and research and has made significant contributions in the fields of Cell biology and Entomology, which constitute his core areas of expertise. He also coordinates the Food Science & Nutritional Technology Programme and serves as the In-charge of the laboratory “Environmental and Public Health Research Laboratory” within the department, reflecting his dedication to interdisciplinary research and Applied Sciences.

Under his kind guidance, one research scholar has been awarded a Ph.D. Degree, and four research scholars are presently pursuing their Ph.D. Under his mentorship, demonstrating his commitment to nurturing future researchers and academicians. Throughout his academic career, Dr. Meena has published 40 research papers in reputed journals and has authored five international-level books, underlining his scholarly excellence. His innovative research work has also led to two patents, which mark important advancements in his specialized fields.

A regular contributor to academic forums, Dr. Meena has presented numerous papers at National and International Conferences, furthering his engagement with the global scientific community. His multifaceted roles and impactful contributions continue to elevate the department’s academic standards and research capabilities.

Mr. Ankit Kumar holds M.Sc. Degree in Zoology. He has qualified CSIR-NET JRF and Gate-XL. He is currently pursuing Ph.D. at the Department of Zoology, Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur. With a solid academic background and a deep enthusiasm for the Biological Sciences, he conveys both insight and precision in his writing. This book is a testament to his commitment to education, research, and scientific communication.

Miss. Mansi Vyas holds M.Sc. Degree in Zoology (Gold Medalist). She has qualified CSIR-NET JRF (AIR-75), and Rajasthan State Eligibility Test (R-SET). She is currently pursuing Ph.D. at the Department of Zoology, Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur. With a strong academic foundation and a passion for Biological Sciences, she brings both depth and clarity to her writing. Her work reflects a dedication to making complex Zoological concepts accessible and engaging for readers.
