The title of this book is self explanatory which depicts the theme and objectives for which it has written. Automobile pollution is one of the main source of the Air Pollution. Many legiskations have been enacted to check/control the situation. The Stockholm conference devoted to the environment became a guiding star and provided impetus to the world’s nations to initiate measures to orevent and control the pollution without disturbing man’s desire for development. India who was a signatory to his conference adopted various legislative measures.
